  This is a great park if you have boys playing Folsom Rec baseball. Decent amount of parking, restrooms, and play area for kids while boys practice or play. There are 3 baseball fields (one lighted) connected to this park. Park is connected to Empire Oaks Elementary school, so also available if you have kids practicing soccer on the school green.
  
  The only real complaint (except for that wall breaking the two play areas) is the parking. This park has lots of spots, but with 3 baseball games going on, you may find yourself parking on the street. To make matters worse, the parking lot has a giant 'open space' area, in the middle of the lot. I often think some burger joint or mini mart is bidding to move in any day. Just waiting for the day we go here to see a sign stating "Now opening Dutch Bros in McFarland Park parking lot."
